Belgian melodic death / groove metallers HEXA MERA have unleashed their debut self-released full album ‘Human Entropy‘ the 1st of november 2014.
The album was recorded at Empyrean Studio by Jan Huygens and contains 13 self-produced tracks:

The album is about the most destructive, but mostly unknown and
complex law in the universe, linked to the existence and acts of
humanity. Entropy is the scientific term for the measurement of
dissorder. The second law of thermodynamics has proven that without
putting new energy into a system, the amount of dissorder never
decreases. Every isolated system will evolve into chaos until there are
no remains of its original form. Stars explode, planets collide, Empires
fall, civilizations dissapear, humanity will extinct… Even the scars ,
the pollution, the ruins, … all we leave behind, will fade away by time
as it never has been. The concept of the album is the link between
humanity and entropy. It\’s about the psychological and material aspect
of human destruction on micro and macro level.
The artwork for the new HEXA MERA CD is created by London based digital photorealistic artist Colin Marks from Rain Song Design who also developed artwork for bands like Aborted, Threat Signal, Suicide Silence and Scar Symmetry. the mixing is done by Ace Zec from OceanSide Studio, who previously worked with Spoil Engine and Diablo Blvd. Mastering of the album is done by Alan Douches from West West Side Music, who also worked with The Black Dahlia Murder, Kataklysm and Chimaira.
